When my body says ...

WHEN MY BODY SAYS...

Am I hearing or drowning out...? Am I feeling or anesthetizing...? Am I acting or freezing...? Am I living or surviving...?

The answers to these questions are a reflection of quality of the relationship we have with our own bodies, that is, with ourselves because, after all, "the body is me." In the body is written our history from "there and then", which can affect our here and now.

✧ How am I in life now? How am I experiencing life through my body? What am I saying to myself? Whose voice is it? My own or perhaps similar to...? And what do I feel in my body then? Am I shrinking or opening up to this inner narrative? Or maybe you find it difficult to answer these questions because you don't feel what you feel? Or the only thing you feel in your body is pain, discomfort, stiffness and you don't know why?

✧ How can you help yourself to build a supportive relationship with your body and revitalize what is anesthetized and frozen? The basic principle applies here is: ‘SLOWER IS THE FASTER’.

And this is the way we will work in the workshop. We will give as much permission to the emerging feelings as we are ready to accommodate them in the body. This kind of work invites us to open and let go of what is difficult and held back in the body. It creates space to reach for what feeds our vitality, gives greater access to pleasure and unlocks grace in the body.
