The  Rites of la Huesera are above all healing. The Rites hold mysteries of  Mother Earth, of Life, of the Feminine and the Masculine.

✧ What can Rites of Passage Do for Us?

• Become aware of who we are and where we are in life • Give us security, strength and clarity • Renew us and transform us, opening a new life and identity for us • Bring us recognition on a social level in the eyes of our group • Help us to grow and evolve as individuals in on a mental and emotional level • Help us to place ourselves in healthy position among others based on respect for ourselves.

A  rite of passage is a bridging ceremony, a ceremony of transition from  one life stage to another. Rites of passage are not something new, they  are ancient practices that have been lost over the years as we became  'Civilized'.

Those  ancestral rites fell into the well of social whirlwinds and  questionable roles models, leaving the vast majority with no other guide  than chaos as unhealthy  practices have become a substitude,  far  removed from the sacred substance of the rites.

This  disconnection from the sacred and from the natural cycles of the human  being have mostly brought dire consequences for the individual who,  without making their vital transitions in an adequate way, can at times  face not only imbalance and lack of security, but also be left at the  mercy of harmful social roles and practices. Especially young people are  more vulnerable, that is why there are specific rites to meet them.

Each  of these celebrations usually have some preparations. They are very  special moments that require organisation and particular elements.

The  Path to Vision Quest is a concept that has been adopted by different  cultures around the world. The main idea is to reach a vision, an  epiphany to bring enlightenment and an opportunity to grow, change, find  a purpose.

There  is something that compels the human being to reach out for connection  with the Great Mystery, beyond religious or cultural barriers. That is  why this path is open to everyone who feels it, it is a path for those  who want to follow in the footsteps of mystics, ascetics, and seekers  who seek a connection with the sacred beyond labels.

A Vision Quest is a ritual process that includes 4 main basic elements:

1. Solitude 2. Nature 3. Fasting 4. Connection

Of  course before surrendering to the ritual there is a preparation  process. We cannot expect something to transform us overnight without  integrating and processing every stage of it. We are round like the  Moon.

Although  the Vision Quest is open to anyone now, just as men have the Path of  Thunder, with circles and specific medicine, women have the Path of the  Moon and the Rites that connect us with our womanhood, along the  different stages of our life.

This is my offering, an offering that is a song of Moon and Thunder, that I bring to the land of Icelandic for whoever hears it.

• 2 Seeding Weekends a year plus Vision Quest Camp • Zoom Bridge Meetings and info.
